What is: A Real Estate Wholesaler

You're likely familiar with the concept of buying and selling products. A real estate wholesaler operates in the world of real estate, but instead of buying and selling individual items like houses, they focus on finding and connecting great real estate deals.

A real estate wholesaler is someone who identifies properties that are available at a discounted price, often because the owners need to sell them quickly or are in a situation where they can't take care of the property anymore. The wholesaler negotiates with the seller to buy the property at a lower price than its market value.

Once the wholesaler has acquired the property, they don't actually live in it or make any major improvements. Instead, their goal is to quickly find another buyer who might be interested in the property. This buyer is often an investor or someone looking for a good deal on a home.

The wholesaler then sells the property to this new buyer at a slightly higher price, but still lower than what the property could be sold for on the open market. This price difference is how the wholesaler makes their profit.

So, in a nutshell, a real estate wholesaler is someone who acts as an intermediary between sellers who need to sell their properties fast and buyers who are looking for discounted real estate deals. They make money by finding great opportunities and passing them along to others, helping both sellers and buyers achieve their goals. It's a bit like being a matchmaker in the real estate world!
